Last weekend there was an exciting event in the usually small and quiet town of Loupian...
Every year, the Foire Languedocienne takes place in our town, which gives the kids and people who have always lived here the chance to dress up in traditional clothes and to parade in the town centre. Hundreds of people come from all over the Languedoc region (hence the name) to see it. It was great, lots of music, drinking etc etc.
They even let some bulls go on a run in the town on Saturday, with some sporty youngsters trying to catch them.
Anyway, I've added a few photos here of the boys' school performance, which opened the festivities. There's also a few of the bull run (and the horses that kept them grouped together). It seems a bit barbaric to try and stop a bull by pulling its tail, but apparently it doesn't hurt too much. You'll also see a very colourful Portuguese group that was invited to take part in the celebrations.

The photos are great- as usual. Thankyou. It looks like you had really good weather for it. Let's hope we are that lucky when we come. We are really looking forward to it. Ben and Matt looked good, and seemed to be enjoying it too.
